How to use

  1. Set how many people are playing. Names are optional – numbers work fine.
  2. Choose 2 to 6 teams.
  3. Tap Make teams. Not happy? Shuffle again for a fresh draw, or Copy teams to paste them into your group chat.

How the teams are balanced

Everyone is shuffled at random and then dealt out one by one, like cards. Team sizes differ by at most one: 7 people make 4 + 3, and 10 people in 3 teams make 4 + 3 + 3.

Good for

Games at a dinner party or get-together, quiz nights, pickup football or basketball, PE class, workshops – whenever you need teams nobody can argue with.

Privacy

Names stay on your device. Nothing you type is uploaded, and there’s nothing to sign up for.

How it works

Just set how many people are playing – numbers work straight away. To use names, tap “Rename players”. Names are shared by both tools.

Pick one: tap “Spin” to choose one person. You can remove the winner and spin again; “Restore” brings everyone back. A player with weight 2 is twice as likely to be picked as a player with weight 1.

Teams: choose how many teams and tap “Make teams”. Team sizes differ by at most one.

“Save” keeps one set of players in this browser, and “Load” brings it back.
